Founded in 1981, the school is located near the industrial zone of Skikda.
Its mission is the training of senior technicians, Training Application Engineers and Continuing Education (recycling and upgrading).

Areas of activity:
The areas of ESK activity are:
Refining & Petrochemical, Industrial Chemistry, Exploitation of surface units, oil Instrumentation, oil Mechanics, Mechanics, Electromechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Industrial Safety.

Teaching capacity: 250 seats
Accomodation capacity: 120 beds
Mode of Studies: free residential system
Levels of trainees: Operators, supervisor, specialized seniorTechnicians and application engineers.

Laboratories :
Standardized tests, Chemistry, Environment, Analysis, Electrochemistry / Corrosion, oil Instrumentation , regulation and Measurments , DCS Simulator, fluid Mecanics, Pumps, Compressors, Steam Turbine , gas Turbine, internal combustion engines, Diagnosis vibration analysis, heat exchanger, Languages(multimedia) and computer science / Internet.

Infrastructure:
17 classrooms, calculation Centre, library, printing room, Restaurant, and a Foyer.
