Training Caracteristics
IAP Training is characterized by its originality that makes it different from a classical university. It is of operational kind and not linear in time (module after module). It is based on personalized and interactive methods aimed to small groups with independent learning benefiting from the contribution of industry professionals. This learning is organized into themes that are consolidated throughout the training, improved, addressed from different angles, crossed with other courses. The goal is to train high level executives, immediately operational through a modular system gradually reaching the best technical skillls and including, in addition to fundamental theoretical concepts, concerns of the industry. This modular instruction enables improvement and adaptation over the years, to the pace of new technologies. The pedagogy (teaching, projects, work practices, work on stations, simulators and others) deals with real cases to familiarize the trainee and put them in touch with their job. It is designed to emphasize the multidisciplinarity and interactions between the methods used in the field of hydrocarbons. Practice period and in industry represent nearly 30% of the given education. All courses include an intensive English training, a course of petroleum economics (investment and budgets, taxation, profitability, study contracts, budgets, finance, supply and demand, production inputs and costs, production and prices, competition ...), an HSE course and a course on communication techniques, presentation and report writing. Admission to IAP is subject to oral tests completing the written ones that assess and select the candidate with a complete and balanced profile with leadership, teamwork, fitness and motivation capacities. |
